Match me

Skip the comparison - we’ll pick your best match.

Tell us about the debt and we’ll match you to the single best-fit vetted agency for your case. Same impartial engine, one clear recommendation.

About the debt

Not sure where they’re based? No problem - we’ll match agencies that cover the whole UK.

Where should we send your match?

Your details go only to the one agency you choose - never sold, never shared as a list.

Free and impartial. Agency names stay hidden until you choose to be introduced.

Your match will appear here. We line it up on merit - fees, track record and fit - never who pays most.

How the match is decided

Matching is a filter, not a lottery. Four things have to be true before an agency can be put in front of you, and they are applied in this order.

  1. Coverage. The agency must state that it covers where your debtor is based, not where you are. That matters more than it sounds: it decides which agencies can genuinely act, and if your debtor is in Scotland or Northern Ireland it decides which legal system applies.
  2. Specialism. It must actually handle your kind of debt. An agency that is excellent on commercial invoices may not touch residential rent arrears, and a rent-arrears specialist may not do judgment enforcement.
  3. Minimum debt value. Most agencies set a floor below which a case is not worth opening. Rather than show you an agency that would decline, we remove it.
  4. Capacity. An agency at its intake limit is skipped, so you are not introduced to someone who cannot start on your case.

Whatever survives all four is ranked on verified track record and independently sourced ratings. The strongest fit is the one you see.

Why one recommendation can still be impartial

The obvious question about a single recommendation is what is in it for us. The answer is that the ranking cannot be bought: every agency pays the same published introduction fee, banded by the size of the debt, and no agency can pay to be recommended or to appear higher.

Because the fee is identical whichever agency you are matched with, we have nothing to gain from steering you toward one over another. Where two agencies fit your case equally well, the one with the stronger verified record wins, not the one that spends more. It is the same engine behind the side-by-side comparison, showing you one result instead of several.

What happens after you submit

Your details go to the one agency you choose to be introduced to, and to nobody else. They are never sold and never shared as a list. Until you choose, no agency sees who you are, which is what stops the comparison turning into a round of sales calls.

If nothing fits, you will be told that rather than shown a poor match. It happens most often on very small balances, on debts against a debtor who is already insolvent, and in places where a specialism is thin, and in those cases the honest answer is more useful than an introduction that goes nowhere.

Common questions about matching

How do you decide which agency is my best match?

Four filters, applied in order. Coverage: the agency must state that it covers where your debtor is based. Specialism: it must handle your kind of debt, whether that is an unpaid invoice, commercial or residential rent arrears, or an unpaid judgment. Minimum debt value: agencies set a floor, and one whose minimum sits above your balance is removed rather than shown. Capacity: an agency at its intake limit is skipped so you are not introduced to someone who cannot start. Whatever survives all four is ranked on verified track record and independent ratings, and the top fit is what you see.

If you recommend one agency, how can the result be impartial?

Because the ranking cannot be bought. Every agency pays the same published introduction fee, banded by the size of the debt, and no agency can pay to be recommended or to appear higher. The fee is identical whichever one you are matched with, so we have nothing to gain from steering you. If two agencies fit your case equally well, the one with the stronger verified record wins, not the one that spends more.

Should I use Match me or compare agencies myself?

Match me if you would rather not weigh the options and want one clear recommendation. Compare if you want to see the shortlist and decide yourself on fee model, minimum debt and track record. Both run the same engine on the same vetted agencies and both are free; the only difference is whether you see one result or several. You can also run the comparison after being matched.
